Founded on January 19, 2019, by Prudhvi Moses, Smiley Children Society has grown into a community-focused non-profit organization committed to improving children’s lives through education, awareness, and social service. The organization operates from its Head Office in Mandapeta, with branch offices in Angara (East Godavari District) and Pothavaram (West Godavari District).

One of the society’s key initiatives involves helping children who are not enrolled in school gain admission to government educational institutions. Volunteers conduct community visits, meet with parents, explain the importance of education, and provide assistance with documentation and admission procedures. Through this personalized support, Smiley Children Society has helped simplify the enrollment process for many families.

The initiative has earned appreciation from Headmaster Swamy Narayan, who commended the dedication of the volunteers and recognized Founder Prudhvi Moses for his ongoing contribution to promoting education in rural communities.

“Education creates opportunities that can change the course of a child’s life. Our volunteers work directly with families because we believe every child deserves the chance to receive quality education and pursue a better future,” said Prudhvi Moses.

Beyond facilitating school admissions, the organization operates free evening tuition classes in Angara for students who require additional academic guidance. The classes provide personalized instruction, homework assistance, concept revision, and examination preparation, helping students strengthen their learning and improve classroom performance.

To support children’s health and encourage regular attendance, Smiley Children Society also provides free dinner after every tuition session. The initiative reflects the organization’s holistic approach to child development by combining education with nutritional support.

Prudhvi Moses has also been a vocal advocate for enhancing early childhood education. During educational events at local schools, including ZPHS Angara, he has emphasized the need for Anganwadi centres to adopt creative teaching practices such as storytelling, educational games, activity-based learning, and visual teaching aids. According to him, these methods can make learning more engaging while fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence among young children.

In support of innovative education, Smiley Children Society regularly donates educational equipment, learning materials, and classroom resources to schools that are committed to creating child-friendly learning environments.
